distraction detection algorithms
Machine-learning and computer-vision methods that classify whether a driver is distracted versus attentive, recognizing secondary-task engagement such as phone use, texting, reaching, or eyes-off-road behavior from cabin video, hand/head pose, or vehicle signals. Unlike drowsiness_detection_algorithms (fatigue) and gaze_based_attention_detection (a gaze-only attention signal), the detection target is distraction from competing tasks, using any sensing modality.
