Sleep deprivation as a cause of impaired driving: insufficient prior sleep, acute total sleep loss, or chronic sleep restriction and their dose-dependent effect on subsequent driving. The upstream sleep-loss INPUT, distinct from the resulting drowsy state (drowsiness) and from body-clock timing (circadian_factors).
