adaptive driving beam

Adaptive driving beam and matrix/pixel high-beam control specifically: the sensing-and-actuation system that keeps the high beam on while automatically dimming or shadowing the portions aimed at oncoming and lead vehicles, plus glare-free high-beam and intelligent beam-switching evaluations. The adaptive control behavior of the beam, distinct from raw headlamp photometry as a light source (headlamp_performance) and from fixed roadway lighting (roadway_lighting_effects).
