headlamp performance
Photometric performance of the vehicle's own forward headlamps: beam intensity and pattern, luminous output, seeing distance, glare to oncoming drivers, and comparisons of halogen, HID, and LED low- and high-beam systems. Concerns the headlamp as a light source mounted on the car, NOT the automatic beam-aiming control logic of matrix/ADB systems (adaptive_driving_beam) and NOT fixed pole-mounted street or road lighting (roadway_lighting_effects).
