vru conspicuity
Making vulnerable road users visible to drivers: detectability of pedestrians and cyclists through retroreflective and fluorescent clothing, biomotion markings, bike lights, and the distance at which a driver first sees a person on or near the road. The object being made visible is a person walking or cycling, NOT a vehicle (vehicle_conspicuity) and NOT emergency responders or work crews (emergency_work_zone_conspicuity).
