trust in automation foundations
Trust in automation as a foundational construct: definitions and models of human trust in automated and robotic systems (Lee and See), trust formation, violation, and repair, reliance and compliance, trust scales and their validation, and human-robot trust outside the driving domain. The trust construct itself, distinct from trust_calibration (a driver matching reliance to a vehicle system during use) and from acceptance_adoption (consumer willingness to adopt).
