mode awareness

Mode awareness: the driver's knowledge of which automation mode is currently active and what it is doing — mode confusion, mode errors, knowing whether the system is engaged or has reverted. Concerns ongoing awareness of system state, NOT a single startling unexpected action (automation_surprise) or the appropriateness of the driver's reliance (trust_calibration).
