Teleoperation and remote driving: remote operators controlling or assisting vehicles, latency effects on remote vehicle control, remote assistance and fallback for driverless fleets, operator workstations and situation awareness at a distance, and one-to-many remote supervision. The remote-human-in-the-loop arrangement, distinct from driverless_ads (no human fallback at all) and from takeover_transitions (the in-vehicle driver resuming control).
