dual task multitasking
Dual-task interference and multitasking foundations: the psychological refractory period (PRP) paradigm, central bottleneck and capacity-sharing accounts, multiple resource theory (Wickens), concurrent task performance costs, threaded cognition, media multitasking, and individual differences in multitasking ability including supertaskers. The basic dual-task construct from cognitive psychology, distinct from dual_task_performance under cognitive workload (dual-task decrements measured in driving) and from task_switching (sequential, not concurrent, task demands).
