cognitive capacity variation

Between-driver variation in central cognitive ability: working memory capacity, processing speed, attentional control, executive function, and general intelligence as determinants of driving outcomes. This is individual differences in information processing capacity, distinct from sensory_abilities (signal acquisition at the senses, upstream of cognition) and from personality_driving (dispositional traits rather than ability); it is the ability axis, not the demographic axes of sex_gender or cultural_cross_national.
