passenger effects

Passenger influence on driver behavior and risk: teen passengers multiplying young driver crash risk, protective effects of adult passengers, social facilitation and peer pressure in the vehicle, conversation with passengers versus remote conversation, and carpooling or supervision effects. The social-context-inside-the-vehicle factor, distinct from mobile_phones (remote conversation via device) and from parental_management (rules imposed outside the drive).
