Time-to-collision judgment and looming: perception of imminent collision from optical expansion, tau-based TTC estimation, looming detection thresholds, rear-end closing scenarios, and TTC as a hazard cue and warning trigger. The collision-imminence judgment, distinct from speed_distance_perception (general speed and distance estimation), from perception_action_locomotion (the broader visual control of movement), and from braking_response (the motor response once danger is detected).
