pedestrian behavior perception

Pedestrians' own behavior and perception in traffic: crossing decisions, gap acceptance, where pedestrians look, attention and distraction while walking, judgments of vehicle speed and distance, jaywalking and waiting behavior. The focus is the pedestrian as actor and perceiver, not the driver's response to them (see driver_vru_interaction) and not children specifically (see child_pedestrian). Covers adult and general pedestrian populations rather than cyclists or e-scooter riders.
