lane positioning

Lateral position within the travel lane and how steadily the driver holds it: mean lateral position, lane offset, lane-keeping accuracy, and standard deviation of lane position (SDLP) as the canonical lane-keeping metric. This is the continuous lateral-control outcome while staying in one lane, distinct from the discrete maneuver of leaving it (lane_changing) and from the steering inputs that produce position (steering_pattern).
